DeleteA good question. I have often wondered. But to comment on something do we really have to join the group? If I do not join the army, will arm forces cease to exist? There may be others who would like to join army. Society is made of diverse people. Asking to retaliate does it imply I should join armed forces or send my kid? I am not sure.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! That's a good point. And most of us would fail the preliminary test itself! I have uncles who have fought in the wars during the 70s. So a fauji background changes a lot of perspective. We talk about them as the army and they talk about us as the civilians :)
